On the 11 May 2020 I was invited to present at the conference organized by Near East University, N Cyprus Workshop on Monitoring Universal Rights. The conference was organized by Professors Drs. Zehra Altinay and Fahriye Altinay. Presenters were Prof. Dr. Vahap Tecim, Ass.Prof.Dr. Mustafa Özhan Kalaz and  mysellr Professor Dr. Ebba Ossiannilsson, Sweden

My presenation was on Universal rights for social justice. I focused on open education, human rights and social justce. I also discussed  the UNESCO Sustainabiliy Goals especilly SD4 on education, but also some ralted ones as SDG3 Good health and well being, SDG7 Ensure access to affordable, reliable, sustainable and modern energy for all, SDG8 Decent work and economic growth, SDG10 Reduced inaquality and SDG16 Peace, Justice asn stong institutions. In addition, I discussed UNESCOs new initiatve on Futures Of Education: Learning to Become, A global initiative to reimagine how knowledge and learning can shape the future of humanity and the planet.
