Greeters

On 15 September, I gave a presentation at Lund-Kloster Rotaryklubb, John Bull, Lund, about Tourist Information Lundand Lund Greeters. 

Tourist Information Lund is a voluntary non-profit tourist information centre for Lund with the largest amount of tourist information about Lund, the oldest city in Sweden. The city of Lund was already established in the year 964 by the Danish king Harald Bluetooth and his Vikings. Lund was an important ecclesiastical city during the medieval time, and archbishopric for the whole of Christian Scandinavia. The history of Lund is exceptionally interesting!

Tourist Information Lund is not only a tourist information centre with Lund's largest selection of tourist information. We are also one of the Swedish destinations in the International Greeter Association since January 2020, Lund Greeters

Greeters is a unique service where locals show and inform you about their city. Visitors get to see interesting places that they can't easily find themselves. In this way, greeters make the visit much more interesting. It is a completely non-profit service that is free for visitors

Rotary is a professional network dedicated to creating a better world. Club members bring diverse experiences, backgrounds, expertise and world views, fostering engaging meetings and meaningful humanitarian initiatives. Lund-Kloster Rotaryklubb meets every Tuesday to exchange experiences and hear interesting presentations, while contributing to the greater good at both local and global levels.
